Scott Hansen performing at Maple Grove
December 24, 2011 by Sarah
Just a half hour’s drive from Ham Lake, comedian Scott Hansen will be performing on New Years Eve in Maple Grove.
Although New Year’s Eve has long been associated with fun times and entertainment, Scott Hansen will be taking things to a whole new level this time. Besides his impeccable resume, what separates Hansen from other comedians is his experience living within the state. This isn’t going to be a comedy special so much as one Minnesotan entertaining other Minnesotans while getting ready to celebrate the New Year.
Hansen’s showbiz history is being described as follows:
“As seen nationally on HBO, Showtime and Comedy Central, Scott Hansen will bring his unique “hit and run” style of comedy to the Maple Tavern in Maple Grove for two hilarious shows at 7:00 and 9:00 on New Years Eve. Scott has achieved fame and notoriety for his sharp audience interaction and comedic depiction of the “Minnesota situation”. Having appeared in front of over a million Minnesotans, he has become the voice of local comedy and an icon that fills clubs and concerts across the Midwest.”
Given the respect Hansen commands within his industry, people don’t need stacks of flyer printing to determine whether or not this show is going to be worth attending. With early-bird tickets going for a mere $20.00 and a charge of $25.00 for those booking seats late, this is a very affordable event. With ads also mentioning the availability of reservations that include “front row tables for four with a bottle of champagne are $150.00”, what better way to celebrate the passing of 2011 than with friends?
