Members of the Ham Lake Area Chamber of Commerce will once again have no shortage of opportunities to network informally while playing a few rounds during this year’s golf tournament.
With the 33rd Annual Ham Lake Golf Tournament coming up on August 16, local professionals will be able to engage in a bit of friendly competition this month. Being hosted at the Majestic Oaks Golf Club, the tournament is expected to begin at the reasonable hour of 1:00 pm. Together with the Vintage Car Show slated to take place three hours later at 4:00 pm, organizers are obviously expecting a strong turnout.
As for the day itself, the tournament theme is going to be ‘Back to the 50s’. According to the chamber website, the event has been set up with a fairly reasonable price range of $375 for four players and $97 for those who would rather register as individuals.
The fun does not stop there in terms of potential prizes. There are expected to be prizes for the longest drive, the best-dressed group, a big money prize for hitting a hole-in-one at a selected hold, as well as other incentives for participation.
Besides the business card printing that is likely to be required of local print companies, flyer printing and perhaps banner printing are a couple other printing services that might be needed for the tournament. Regardless, professionals who registered ahead of time have a multitude of reasons to be excited by the event.
