Ham Lake in for a tasty October

October 9, 2012 by

Right in the middle of the month, Ham Lake residents will be getting a first-rate opportunity to interact with their political candidates ahead of the elections, which is always a good thing. If that were not enough, however, it is worth noting that there will also be a Home Improvement & Design Expo being hosted nearby in Blaine towards the end of the month. Whichever way an individual looks at it, there is plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks.

As has been previously touched upon, the Ham Lake Area Chamber of Commerce website has a ‘Meet the Candidates Night’ listed on its website. Slated to take place at the Majestic Oaks Golf Club on October 16, there is no question that allowing voters to hear the candidates discuss the issues could be valuable in their decision-making. Starting at 6:00 pm, this is an event well worth attending.

Just over ten days after this is the Home Improvement & Design Expo that will be taking place in Blaine on October 27. Simply due to the nature of this event, it goes without saying that printing companies and brochure printers are most likely going to be busy ahead of this one.

With a broad range of products being showcased, along with a number of professionals who specialize in helping make the decorating plans of the individual a reality, it’s clear that the Expo is an event that will focus on bringing businesses and prospects together.

Set at a cost of either $6 or a Food Shelf donation, the incentives for getting involved here are all the more compelling.
