Rotary Reverse Lottery takes place February 17th

February 8, 2012 by

The Rotary Reverse Lottery is being held at Timberlake Lodge on the 17th of February.

As is par for this course at these functions, the Rotary Reverse Lottery will combine dinner and prizes with fundraising for the community. At this year’s event there’s a big $10,000 prize as well as an additional $5,000 up for grabs in additional cash prizes. In past lotteries, tickets have been sold in limited amounts.

Assuming the plan stays the same, the odds are fantastic even without taking the raffle prizes into account. Being held once again at the Timberlake Lodge, this promises to be a fantastic evening for all who attend.

Since this event has become a bit of a fixture in Grand Rapids, most residents don’t need flyer printing to inform them about what is likely to happen. What’s interesting to note about the lottery is the fact that the proceeds will be going towards a variety of worthy causes throughout the city.

A point of interest for local business owners is the raffle prize drawing. According to an article that once appeared in the Grand Rapids Herald Review, companies were able to highlight themselves and gain some positive exposure by donating prizes to this event.

With lottery tickets going at $100 each, there may still be a few available leading into the lottery. For those who want to contribute to a good cause but don’t want to part with that much money, there are dinner tickets going for $35 each.

All in all, there’s something for everyone at this year’s Rotary Reverse Lottery.
