Grand Rapids Spring Carnival May 12th
May 3, 2012 by Mark
Being held from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm every Wednesday until the hour send in June, local goods providers have a prime opportunity to get their products in front of interested buyers. Limited exclusively to those that are based within 50 miles of Grand Rapids, this is a great opportunity for people who are looking to purchase locally grown produce.
With meat, syrup, jam, baked goods, preserves, honey, vegetables, and fruit all listed as items being made available for sale, residents can’t go wrong stopping by and seeing what’s there. Given the reasonable prices and the variety of payment methods that are currently being accepted, shopping locally has never been more convenient. The ongoing nature of this one further adds to that point.
On May 12th, things really open up with the Spring Carnival and Open House being held at the Forget-Me-Not Foundation. There’s probably been flyer printing circulating in anticipation of this one, and with associated activities including raffle prizes, rides, ponies, games, and food, there’s no better way to spend the day.
The sheer variety of activities presented works to ensure that there’s never a dull moment at any point here. Going from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, it’s also clear that there’s a generous time allotment for individuals who are looking to take their friends and family on a fun outing.
