Grand Rapids residents get choices this month

If the calendar is anything to go by, Grand Rapids residents have a number of festivals and fun-filled events to look forward to in the coming days. With so many activities going on, it would be surprising if the printing services of a local printing company weren’t needed in some capacity.

The closest of these events is the 10th Annual Bigfork Wilderness Day Celebration. With an official date of June 9th, this one is slightly different in that it won’t be taking place in Grand Rapids. Staying true to the theme of “Living on the Edge”, the celebration will feature prizes, food, a parade, an eating competition, and even live music among other things. Starting at noon and going for most of the day, residents who happen to be in Bigfork won’t regret taking advantage of the chance to take in the sights.

Coming back to events taking place directly in Grand Rapids, it’s also worth pointing out that the 37th Annual Judy Garland Festival is being held from the 14th to the 16th.

Interestingly enough, even local professionals are getting a chance to bond while participating in a bit of friendly competition this month. With the Annual Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce Catch, Record, Release Walleye Tournament coming up on the 15th, there’ll be plenty of opportunity to network in a relaxed setting.

Closer to the end of the month, Grand Rapids will also be hosting the 23rd Annual Bluegrass Festival from June 15th to 17th. As most can see, residents have plenty of options available to them.
