Calendar keeping people busy in Grand Rapids

July 7, 2012 by

With concerts, tournaments, a fair, and even a Health Expo coming up, residents of Grand Rapids have a full calendar of events to choose from. In light of everything that’s going on, local printing companies will surely be busy providing a number of printing services throughout the month.

Things start off fairly quickly with the Annual Mary Sandstrom Memorial Tennis tournament taking place next week on July 10 and 11. Aimed primarily at young people between the ages of 8 and 18, this is a great chance to burn off that extra energy while also enjoying the fantastic weather. With this contest being hosted in a number of places, including Grussendorf, LaPrairie, Crystal Springs, and Grand Rapids, there is a certain amount of flexibility here that makes the tournament even more of an attractive option.

The following day, the Annual Summer Jazz Concert will be taking place shortly before noon at 11:30 am. With Sam Militich & Friends preforming, music lovers are clearly in for a treat. Featuring drinks and snacks to go with the live talent, this free event is something residents cannot refuse to consider.

Where print companies are going to have their hands full is with respect to the Downtown Art Fair being held on July 14. Beginning bright and early at 9:00 am, there will be art for sale, prize drawings, workshops, and music included during this day.

Interestingly enough, brochure printers will still be busy a week later, on July 21, with the Bigfork Valley Health Expo. Free for people to attend, this is another event to consider.
