Business expo to unite seven chambers of commerce

April 26, 2013 by

The South of the River Small Business Expo and Business After Hours will take place in mid-May. It will feature representative and members from seven chambers of commerce, including the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce.

The expo will feature several tables and free-standing exhibits by chamber members, hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar. Those in attendance will have plenty of chances to exchange business cards and to talk about business during the two-hour event. It will be a good opportunity for those businesses new to the area to make their names known to their fellow chamber members or to the general public, while also giving them a chance to grow their referral networks and possibly generate new business or new partnerships.

Rental fees for exhibitors are $125 for an eight-foot table or $80 for just half of the table. Free-standing displays are also $125. Exhibitors must provide their own signs, so it is very likely that they will be working with their local printing companies from communities such as Burnsville.

Some business pros opt to purchase banner printing services to draw attention to their table exhibits before events like this get underway, since banners can often attract more attention than a static sign.

The South of the Rivers Small Business Expo will take place at the Buck Hill Event Center on May 14 from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm, and there is no charge to see what is on offer. For more information, call Maranda at 952-898-5642.
