Annual spa event to raise funds for mental health

For those in need of a bit of special time to themselves, the 6th annual Spa…ahh, presented by the Burnsville Women of Today, is taking place this weekend. Funds raised will benefit Guild Incorporated, an organization offering treatment and services to those with mental illness.

The event features a variety of mini-spa services and treatments, such as chair massages, brow and/or lip waxing, reiki, and hand massage. In addition, those attending have the opportunity to take part in a silent auction and win a number of great prizes in raffles. A brunch will be included in the price of admission and a cash bar will be available. It is likely to offer an all-round relaxing day for both spa regulars and newcomers.

Local businesses have likely donated the items for the auction and raffle, as this is one way of showing care for the community and their willingness to help those in need.

Burnsville printing companies have likely produced the flyer helping to market this popular annual event. Flyers are inexpensive to produce and can be distributed to a wide area in very little time, which will no doubt help to make this event a bigger success and raise plenty of funds for Guild Incorporated.

Spa…ahh will be held this Saturday, November 2, at the Buck Hill Event Center from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Tickets are $40, which includes three spa services and brunch, or $35 for two spa services and brunch. To learn more about the event, call 612-695-7848.
