Annual food showcase returns to Burnsville

February 24, 2014 by

The annual Bite of Burnsville event is returning to the city this March. It is hosted by the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce and will be held on two levels of the Performing Arts Center.

At least 20 restaurants from the area are expected to be on hand to provide food samples and signature drinks to guests. There will also be live performances by Jeff James and Timothy Howe, a raffle and silent and live auctions. Some of the items up for bidding are Twins tickets, golf packages, and gift certificates to area stores or attractions. In addition to enjoying food and prizes, it should also be a great networking event for local restaurants and business owners.

Local businesses are encouraged to donate items for the auctions. Those who do might want to share that fact with their customers in the Burnsville area. This might include ordering services such as flyers printing to create a product to be distributed to their customers. The flyer can then be place in regular mailings to customers, which may encourage more people to show up for the event.

The Bite of Burnsville will take place at the Performing Arts Center on March 13 from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Tickets are $40 in advance or $50 at the door. To find out more about this annual event, contact Jina at 952-898-5642.
