Annual Fire Muster celebration will have something for everyone
August 21, 2013 by Sarah
The Burnsville Fire Muster will take place for five days this September. This annual event attracts between 15,000 and 20,000 visitors.
The festival is run completely by volunteers. It features entertainment such as music from the Arch Allies, carnival rides, a ‘Kids’ Korner’, pony rides, a fire truck parade, food and drinks, and beer tastings. There are also demonstrations by fire rescue personnel, police and search dog demonstrations, a medallion hunt, a business expo, and a car show. Vendors of all types will also be showcasing and selling their merchandise.
Other events taking place during the Fire Muster will be the Heart of the City Run/Walk, which will raise funds for Kids Feeding Kids, the Burnsville Youth Sports Night, and a fireworks demonstration.
There will definitely be something at the celebration to appeal to every member of the family. No doubt Burnsville printing companies will be providing products such as banners to local organizations that are planning to take part in the community parade.
The Burnsville Fire Muster will take place in various venues in Burnsville from September 4 – 9. Buttons, which are required for admission in some venues, are $5 each or $10 for three. The car show will be held outside the Performing Arts Center on September 5 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. Fireworks will take place at Civic Center Park on September 7, beginning at 9:45pm.
