Chamber hosts multiple networking events

Bloomington professionals have plenty of options at their disposal this month, with two DRIVE events and a Connect for Lunch meet-up being held right at the end of October.

The first of these notable occasions is the recently hosted DRIVE Social event that takes place this evening, October 4. After being promoted as ‘Oktoberfest Under the Big Tent’, it goes without saying that this is a prime opportunity for members of the business community to interact with one another in a fun-filled atmosphere. With an evening start time of 5:00 pm and a conclusion of around 8:00 pm, there is plenty to be said for getting to know people the old-fashioned way at this meet-up.

Set at a cost of $20 for those who attend, there are also clear reasons to consider the benefits of contacting a local print company for business card printing beforehand.

Just over two weeks later, on October 19, there is also going to be a DRIVE Roundtable. With an official title like ‘Parties, Polls, and a President- Election 2012’, it goes without saying that the discussion will undoubtedly be interesting. Priced at $10 for members and $15 for guests, this is another option that Bloomington-based business owners can consider.

Interestingly enough, the networking opportunities do not stop there, with Connect for Lunch being hosted on October 31. With locations changing every time, the connections to be made here are worth considering. Beginning at noon and wrapping up an hour later at 1:00 pm, this is a conveniently-scheduled occasion of which local and nearby professionals will want to be a part.
