The Overland Park Chamber of Commerce is presenting two events at the Overland Park Convention Center on October 24 that will be of interest to the business community.

The Fast Lane of Mobile Marketing seminar will take place from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm and this will be followed by the B2B Expo from 12:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Tickets for both events are $25 for chamber members and $35 for non-members, with lunch also included. For more information, contact Laura Simmons at 913-491-3600.

The Fast Lane of Mobile Marketing seminar will highlight the latest in mobile technology and describe how it can be used in marketing any product. The seminar will be presented by James Hopper of Johnson County Community College. As more and more people purchase smartphones and tablets, mobile marketing becomes increasingly important and business-minded individuals must keep up with those trends if they wish to remain competitive.

The B2B Expo will feature 100 local companies showcasing their products and services to their business peers. Businesses can rent a standard 10 x 10 space for $425 for chamber members or $600 for non-members, with prime spaces also available for a slightly higher charge. Those businesses taking part in the expo are asked to donate door prizes for the event. Sponsorships are also available for $150 – $2,500. Business leaders showcasing at the Overland Park expo will no doubt be placing a new business card printing order in advance to ensure that their contact information is up-to-date.
