Luncheon honors local Overland Park businesses
January 13, 2014 by Mark
The Economic Development Council of the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce’s 7th annual EDC Honors Lunch is taking place this February at Johnson County Community College.
The annual event will be honoring several local businesses and individuals. In addition to lunch, there will be an awards celebration. Among the prizes to be presented during the afternoon will be the Ben Craig Vision Award, the Commercial Development award and the Business Hall of Honor. Three local businesses are chosen to be entered into the Hall of Honor each year.
This will be a major networking event for of the Overland Park business leaders who choose to attend. It is very likely that a majority of those who are planning to attend this popular annual event will be placing a new business card printing order with their local print company. This will ensure that they have enough cards to hand out and that their information is current and displayed correctly. The cards can then be place in a purse or a pocket for easy distribution; there will be plenty of opportunities to exchange cards and to briefly discuss individual businesses during the luncheon.
The EDC Honor Lunch will be held at the Capitol Federal Conference Center at Johnson County Community College on February 6 from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM. Tickets are $30 each or $240 for a table of eight. To find out more about this event or to register, contact Xinh Van Bradt at 913-766-7605.
