Do some networking with the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce
There are several networking events of note coming up at the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce early in May. Local business leaders ideally should attend at least one networking event each month. Overland Park business card printing services play an important part in the success of those networking events. A business card is the most important tool in gaining new business and in growing a referral network; each person should bring at least 50 business cards to each networking event they attend.
On May 3 the Economic Development Council held a luncheon at Corporate Woods from 11:30 am-1:30 pm. The topic of the luncheon was “America’s Creative Crossroads.
The Wednesday Wake Up is held on the first Wednesday of each month. On May 9 the event will take place at Double Tree by Hilton from 8-9 am. Admission is free for chamber members and $5 for non-members; breakfast will be included. There will be plenty of time for networking, to hear some chamber updates and the chance to win door prizes.
On May 11, guests are invited to meet “the founder of Gigi’s Cupcakes and hear her inspiring story of entrepreneurial success at the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce from 9-11 am. Tickets are $15 for chamber members and $20 for non-members.
Whichever event business men and women choose to attend, or even if they wish to be present at all of the remaining events, they are sure to meet some of their business peers who they haven’t met before.
