Show your wares at the Topeka Home Show

The 50th annual Topeka Home Show will take place at the Kansas Expocentre from March 2-4; it is a presentation of the Topeka Home Builder’s Association. Those expected to take part in the Home Show are home builders, remodelling specialists and those who sell home-related products and services. The Home Show is open to the public from noon-6 pm on March 2, 9 am-6 pm on March 3 and 10 am-4 pm on March 4.

Vendors renting booths are encouraged to customize their areas to attract customers. Topeka area vendors who are planning to attend the Home Show, including those from nearby Lawrence, would be wise to contact their local printing company for advice on what sort of decorations, banners or posters will be most attractive to the general public. Booths are available from $620-$2800 for the weekend depending on location inside the Expocentre and feature a back drape, side drape and a 44×7 sign bearing your company name and/or logo.

Home renovation and building still seems popular despite the current economy. Maybe it is partly because of a poor economy that people want to fix up their homes rather than going out for their entertainment. They want to be comfortable in their homes. Besides, many municipalities offer tax relief for those who decide to renovate their houses.

In addition to products for sale, the Home Show will also be providing literature about and help for various do-it-yourself projects that a home owner can do and the Topeka Home Builder’s Association will be educating the public about the work that they can offer.
