Mississippi Valley Blues Festival

June 10, 2012 by

From Friday, June 29th until Sunday, July 1st, the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival will take place at LeClair Park located at 400 West Beiderbecke Drive in Davenport, Iowa, along the Mississippi River. This is an all day event, each day.

This festival has been organized by the volunteers who belong to the Mississippi Valley Blues Society for the past 28 years. This three day festival is held every year over the long weekend in July in the scenic LeClair Park. This festival has a non-commercial style and features hand-picked performers who represent a varied and true blue style. This event has become renowned as one of the finest blues festivals in the entire country, and will feature more than thirty regional and international blues acts that will perform in traditional blues style on two stages. Besides performances, there will also be blues workshops, a children’s BlueSchool where guest’s children can jam with various blues artists, and a photography exhibition. The audience will enjoy the sensations sounds created by these great artists and find themselves singing and tapping along. This is a family event and everyone is welcome, and since this event is outdoors, organizers remind families to bring sunscreen and dress according to the weather of the day.

Print companies may have prepared the flyer printing and other printing services to make sure this event is well advertised. Admission to this blues festival is free to all. For more information, please visit the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival website, or call 563-322-5837.
