From Thursday, July 12 to August 19, the Little Shop of Horrors will be presented at the Theatre at the Center located at 1040 Ridge Road in Munster, Indiana, a few miles down the road from Portage. Matinee performances are at 2:00 pm with evening performances at 8:00 pm. Please check the website for the performance schedule.

Little Shop of Horrors was written by Howard Ashman, who also penned the song lyrics. The musical score was by Alan Menken and it is directed by Stacey Flaster. This production has had the audience roaring and guffawing for many years, as it is one of the longest running products around.

Set in 1950, it tells the story of a sci-fi monster plant, named Seymour. A skid row flower shop assistant plays nursemaid to an exotic plant species that craves fresh blood, so that he can achieve fame and fortune. To his disappointment, however, the huge plant demands more and more blood. Audrey II, an ill-tempered carnivore, blasts out the tunes singing blues and rhythms.

This is an award-winning production with a fantastic musical score that the audience is sure to love, making it a great event for the whole family. Tickets for this event are now on sale and poster printing and brochure printing may have been used to promote this wild and wacky production.
