Motor on down to Indianapolis
July 12, 2012 by Mark
The ‘Ride Your Can Off!’ motorcycle event will take place a week on Saturday, July 21, beginning at 9:00 am for rider registration.
The escorted motorcycle ride starts at Gleaner’s Food Bank at 3737 Waldemere Ave. in Indianapolis, Indiana. At 10:30 am, participants will take an hour-and-a-half ride through Marion County, finishing at Gleaner’s around noon. At that time, attendees will enjoy lunch and entertainment provided by the sponsors. A ride-in motorcycle show will also take place, with the event set to conclude at approximately 1:30 pm.
The proceeds from the second annual ride will benefit the generous services of Gleaner’s Food Bank. Donations are also welcome and every one dollar can help feed four people. Anyone wanting to contribute to the efforts or become an event sponsor can do so on the Gleaner’s Food Bank website.
Sponsors of the ‘Ride Your Can Off!’ ride will reap benefits that include event day publication, event apparel branding with company logo, print publicity, and a sponsor booth for company display. Choosing to become a program sponsor will allow the business name to be listed in the event program. Print companies have likely been hired for the program printing and flyer printing to promote the event. T-shirt sponsors will have their company logo or name on an event T-shirt for riders to wear.
Riders’ registration on the day of the event is $30 and the rider and passenger entry fee is $35. For additional information concerning the ride, donations, or sponsorship, call 317-925-0191 ext. 151.
