From Tuesday, March 27th until Sunday, April 1st, 2012 the Indiana State Museum located at 650 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, will be the host of the most spectacular event in racing when the derby cars return to competition. This event will take place from Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 5pm, Saturday from 9am to 5pm, and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

This event is being sponsored by the Indiana State Museum in conjunction with the Boy Scouts of America, Crossroads of America Council. Participants are invited to join the festivities of the fun runs from Tuesday to Friday, but they must register to compete in the Championship Races on Saturday before 1pm, as the races follows straight away after registration.

Stationery printing for this event has no doubt already been completed by the local printing companies in or around the area, and the race officials are ready to roll. This event has the tallest, longest, fastest track in the area, standing almost two stories high and 126 feet in length, making it a great challenge for anyone. This event is open to everyone. Fun runs on Sunday will continue after the official race on Saturday.

The public is invited to watch. Tickets are available for $3.50 per person for each day, making it a reasonably priced day out for all the family. For those looking to enter, the competition rules can be downloaded from the Indiana State Museum’s website. For more information, people may also call the Indiana State Museum.
