Indianapolis travelers have a new parking option at the airport

Travelers using Indianapolis International Airport now have an additional parking option.

Fast Park & Relax opened its first facility in Indiana on December 27. For $9 per day, a driver can leave their vehicle in a covered parking area while they travel.

There are a number of additional perks provided by Fast Park that may help this option to take the fancy of drivers. First, the lot offers 1,900 spaces, which suggests parking will be easy to find. Customers are assigned to a particular spot and then picked up from there and shuttled to the terminal. Other perks include assistance with luggage, ticketless exit and entry, complimentary water and newspaper, snow removal, four separate charging stations, tire inflation, emergency help in case of auto emergencies, and assistance for disabled passengers.

Chad Whittwer, the facility’s general manager, claims that Fast Park is able to provide the same caliber of services as AAA, noting the company can get into cars when people get locked out or jump dead batteries. He also said the facility is happy to brush snow off the cars and scrape ice from the windows, but hoped that this would not be a frequent occurrence as the lot is covered.

The company is also offering a day’s free parking for a customer who parks for eight days in one year, and seven days’ free parking for someone who parks for 40 days.

Fast Park could work with a flyer printing company to create handouts to distribute at the airport, telling travelers about the new facility.
