Indianapolis’ Downtown Freedom Blast promises July 4 fun
July 2, 2012 by Mark
The Downtown Freedom Blast promises fun for all ages, in order to help residents of Indianapolis celebrate Independence Day. Donatos Pizza, along with several local radio stations will be hosting the celebration on July 4, 2012 at the Indiana War Memorial.
Activities will begin at 6:00 pm, and the evening concludes with the largest fireworks display in Indy. The popular celebration in the downtown area will include pizza, ice cream, carnival games, a military dedication ceremony, face painting, music, and a 42-foot Colts museum called “Colts in Motion”.
Participating radio broadcasters include 93.1 WIBC, B105.7, 1070 the Fan, and 97.1 HANK FM. The fireworks show will be synchronized to popular and patriotic music played on the stations. The event will be on television for the first time this year, as Fox59 will be airing the fireworks display for people that cannot attend. The display begins at 9:45 pm, but guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs early to enjoy the other fun activities, as well.
Flyer printing is just one method that may benefit the pizza sales by using promotions, such as offering coupons for discounts to the patrons.
This will be the 42nd year for the Freedom Blast event. It has become a local tradition, as well as a favorite activity for all the family. Fireworks can be seen shooting in the sky for ten miles and will be shot off the Region’s Bank Tower, which stands 36 stories high. For more information concerning the event, please call 317-446-1937.
