Have fun at the Indianapolis Auto Show

The 98th Indianapolis Auto Show will take place from December 26-January 1, 2012 at the Indiana Convention Center. Admission is $7 and children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult; hours of operation are 11 am-9 pm during the week and 11 am-6 pm on the weekend. The event is sponsored by the Greater Metropolitan Indianapolis Automobile Trade Association.

The Auto Show will feature 39 auto manufacturers including BMW, Ford, GM and Jaguar who will be showing off 400 of their new car models. It is the perfect opportunity to comfortably view the new automobiles for 2012 and those in attendance will be allowed to get up close and personal with the vehicles.

In addition there will be other, non-automobile related activities for the whole family. Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana will be handing out free DNA collection kits on December 28 from 11 am-9 pm. The Community Health Network will be offering free cholesterol checks and will be handing out information on living a healthy life. . They will have been working with Indianapolis brochure printers to create information in an easily digestible and portable format. The American Diabetes Association will also be at the Auto Show promoting healthy living.

The NFL Experience will also be at the Indianapolis Auto Show promoting their upcoming visit to the Indiana Convention Center beginning on January 27. The NFL Experience has been described as an “interactive theme park” and features football related games and activities.
