Day Nursery Race into Reading

On Wednesday, May 9th a new event is being unveiled called “Race into Reading” at the Riverwalk Banquet Center located at 6729 Westfield Blvd, which is north of Broad Ripple in Indianapolis, Indiana. This event begins at 5:30pm and runs until 7:30pm.
This new event will debut this year as a celebration for early childhood literacy. During this event guests will meet Simona De Silvestro, 2010 Indy Rookie of the Year who will act as honorary chair of this event, while Emcee Bob Jenkins talks racing. Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres and wine, while trying their hand at a specially designed “Lap around Literacy”, plus get a first-hand look at the 2012 Day Nursery Teachers’ Choice for Best Book. By attending this event, guests will be supporting low income children from about two hundred and fifty Indianapolis families gain access to the literacy-rich environment offered, as well as a fantastic early childhood educational program through the Day Nursery Associations. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Indianapolis Tuition Assistance Scholarship Fund for the Day Nursery Association. Through this new program, many families in the Indianapolis area will be able to send their children to a better school with a great program. For Indy fans, this night promises to be one to remember.
