Job opportunities to come Wheeling in

The Wheeling Manufacturing Conference and Career Expo is taking place late this November, hosted by the Medusa Consulting Group and the Village of Wheeling

The theme of the conference is ‘Education, Innovation and Manufacturing: a Winning Combination: Bridging the Gap between Education and Industry’. It will feature business exhibits, keynote speeches, and job opportunities for the general public. The two keynote speakers who will be speaking at the conference are Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky and Congressman Brad Schneider.

It is expected that those hosting exhibits will be highlighting what their companies do and will let the public know what type of jobs are available in the field. No doubt they will also be discussing job prospects and what education is needed for those who want to work in their industry. It should be a great opportunity for those who may be considering a career in manufacturing or those who have never given it a thought.

Wheeling printing companies are no doubt supplying some of the exhibitors taking part in the conference with printed materials to hand out to those who are interested. Many will also no doubt be investing in digital business cards to give to those who might consider a career with one of those exhibitors.

The Wheeling Manufacturing Conference and Career Expo is taking place at Wheeling High School’s Sang Theatre on November 26 from 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Admission is free. To find out more about the event, call John C. Melaniphy III at 847-499-9094.
