Extreme Block Party returns to Libertyville

April 26, 2013 by

The 2013 Extreme Block Party will be taking place this weekend in Libertyville.

This annual event is a multi-chamber celebration hosted by the Wheeling/Prospect Heights Area Chamber of Commerce, which also features the Taste of the Town. It will be a family-friendly event which will feature over 100 exhibitors, live entertainment, food samples from area restaurants and caterers, a live reptile show, a LEGO area, raffles, and face painting.

In addition, a regional basketball tournament will be taking place in the arena. It should be a casual, relaxed way for the general public to discover the variety of businesses in the area as well as an excellent opportunity for those businesses to network with one another.

Local business leaders from the area will be able to rent tables for $250 for chamber members or $400 for non-members. Sponsorships are available from $300 to $1,500, and sponsors will also be provided with a vendor table and a stand-alone poster. They can also provide freebies for the 500 reusable tote bags that will be handed out at the door.

No doubt many will be working with local print companies to provide items such as flyers, coupons, pens, business cards, and notepads. Organizers will also be working with printing companies to provide marketing materials, such as flyers and posters.

The Extreme Block Party will take place at the Libertyville Sports Complex on April 27 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, and it is free to attend. For more information call 847-541-0170.
