Warrenville Chamber networking highlights

March 8, 2012 by

Once again, the Warrenville Chamber of Commerce is making a high number of events available to the business community at large. These are just a few upcoming highlights.

Beginning March 14th, the Warrenville and DuPage Chambers of Commerce will be work together hosting the next segment of “Training Plus and Professional Development”. The subject of this particular meeting is an area that many businesses have struggled with at least once: “Dealing with a Difficult Employee”. Whether the issue is motivation or productivity, the psychological aspects of managing people can’t always be grasped intuitively. At this presentation, business owners can learn a few tips for communicating with certain types of employees.

A little over a week after that, entrepreneurs will have the option of attending one of the biggest networking events of the year with the West Suburban Multi-Chamber Luncheon & Expo. Taking place in Woodridge, it’s worth pointing out that there are 17 Chamber chapters participating in this year’s event. The exposure alone can work wonders for a company. While business cards would be a foregone conclusion with this one, the availability of tables and sponsorship acknowledgements is still there.

By extension, things like poster printing, flyer printing, stationery printing, and in some cases banner printing will need to be looked at as well. Scheduled to begin March 22nd, the cost of attendance can vary from a small amount to attend and enjoy the meal to larger fees in exchange for sponsorship status.
