Beginning this Friday, June 29 and running until Sunday, July 1, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat will be making an appearance at the Warrenville Community Building located at 3 S. 240 Warren Avenue in Warrenville, Illinois. This performance runs Friday and Saturday from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm and on Sunday at 3:00 pm and promises to be great entertainment for the whole family.

A high-energy event by which adults and children will be inspired, the play is being presented by the Acorn Community Theatre. The hit musical details the life of Joseph, from biblical fame, as he goes from good to as bad as possible, then to as high as you can go, all covered in a mere 90-minute performance filled with stunning color and upbeat, rocking music.

The Acorn Theatre, a division of WMC Productions, promotes local actors of all ages, as well as quality family entertainment. Their philosophy is that “everyone is good enough” to perform on their stage, so members for their cast come from all around the community, with many becoming part of family groups. In the past, this group has presented the Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, Annie, the Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, and numerous others. This troupe consists of children and adults from the area.

Flyer printing and poster printing may have been used to promote this colorful fun event. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for youth. For more information, please visit the Acorn Theatre website or call the Warrenville Community Building.
