Aquatic event about to splash into the New Year

December 29, 2012 by

Now is the time to look forward to 2013, and the New Year’s Splash invites families from around the area to get dressed up in their most elegant New Year’s Eve outfit and to make their way down to Camden Waterfront to wave goodbye to another year. This is a premier event for the whole family, no matter what the ages. Among other things, guests will enjoy a family-friendly Countdown Dance Party.

During the New Year’s Splash, families will be able to visit truly amazing animal exhibits and delight in some unique animal experiences. Gill, the shark mascot, will be there with his absent-minded friend Professor Reef, who will be putting on the tuxedos and co-hosting this amazing event. There are more than 8,500 hundred animals to view, as well as live music, and a stunning number of activities planned, so do not be surprised if brochure printers have been used to highlight everything going on.

There will be up-close and personal encounters with animals, party hats, confetti canons, and noisemakers, plus a fireworks display shooting over the Delaware River at dark. Each family will receive a courtesy 4 x 6 photo and there are free gifts for the children, as well as free parking for the adults.

Tickets for this event are $30 per adult and $25 for children between two and twelve. Children under two are free. A $1 ticket transaction fee and sales tax apply to each ticket purchased. The New Year’s Splash is being held at Adventure Aquarium on December 31 starting at 5pm. Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey – a short drive from Turnersville.
