Network with the O’Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce

The next monthly member luncheon of the O’Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce will take place at Far Oaks Golf Club on February 8 from 11:45-1 pm. Attendees pay for their own lunch.

The Chamber holds a number networking events each month, most of which feature guest speakers from various businesses, organizations and governments. Each meeting is held at a different member’s restaurant. Networking is one of the most important things you can do to help your business grow. Shiloh printing companies can provide you with the networking tools you need such as business cards and brochures.

Many don’t see the reason to join their local Chamber of Commerce and feel it is an unnecessary expense. However, that is a short sighted way to look at it. Chambers of Commerce advocate on your behalf with government departments and law makers, they provide discounts on many important business services, they offer free or low-cost training and workshops that make you a better business person and they give you the opportunity to network with your peers. In addition, you can join various committees to share your knowledge with others and to give you experience as a committee member.

It has been suggested that you should attend at least one networking event a month. That if you do you will receive your membership fees back in new business and referrals. Membership in a Chamber of Commerce can also help you to find new employees who will be the perfect fit for your business.
