Learn from financial professionals how to raise profits

The Printing Industry Financial Executives (PIFE) Conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch from April 1-3. Tickets are $595 for Printing Industry of America members or $995 for non-members.

The annual conference offers

“insights and perspectives on today’s financial marketplace.”

The conference draws printing company CEO’s, financial VPs and controllers from all over the country, including nearby Shiloh. Those who attend will learn strategies on how to raise profits, case studies and the top trends in the printing industry. There will also be numerous networking opportunities throughout the conference, including a reception on April 1.

There will be three categories of concurrent seminars and workshops: Leadership and Culture, Process and Tools – Fundamental and Process and Tools – Advanced. Seminars will include topics such as:

• Learning to See Lean, Continuous Improvement and Innovation in a New Way – Mike Rother
• Creating Employee Involvement – John McKeough
• Tax Update – Tim S. O’Shaughnessy
• Turning Knowledge into Action: The Next Three Months – John Compton
• Overcoming Organizational Obstacles to Lean – Bruce Hamilton

The Continuous Improvement Conference is also being held at the same venue from April 1-4. It is:

“the only industry event focused on helping companies achieve operational excellence by using the concepts of Lean Manufacturing and other management and quality systems.”

Those attending the PIFE conference can attend all of the sessions held on April 2 and 3rd, as well as any social events and a special reception to be held on April 1.
