Introduce your home business to the community

The O’Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce holds a Business After Hours on the third Tuesday of each month. The next scheduled event is a Home Business Expo on July 17 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. It is expected that somewhere in the region of 50 to 60 business professionals will attend this event.
There will be plenty of networking opportunities during the evening and light refreshments will be served. As with all networking events in the Shiloh area, the most important thing to bring other than yourself is a business card. Printing extras will ensure you have enough to give to everyone who wants one and stationery printing is another option to consider. Business After Hours events usually involve a tour of the host business but more than likely this one will be held at the chamber offices.
Owners of home businesses may not often get the chance to network with other businesses in the area. As they are not as visible, they often have to try harder to get their company known in the community. The Home Business Expo will give them the opportunity to not only meet their business peers but to showcase some of their products.
Attendance at the Home Business Expo is not limited solely to those who own a home business; it also welcomes those who want to forge relationships with those companies. It is important home-based business owners show those who run field-based companies that they have a lot to offer them and would be a great asset to their referral network.
