Orland Park art fair to give local artisans an audience

June 28, 2013 by

The annual Orland Park Fine Art Fair is returning for two days this July, and is a joint presentation of the Orland Park Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Orland Park.

The fair will feature over 40 artists who will be displaying and selling their works, with such items as pottery, jewelry, paintings, clothing, and decorative accessories likely to be among the wares on offer. In addition, there will be entertainment like music, dance, and theatrical performances during the day.

Children attending the fair will also have the chance to contribute to a permanent community art project. Those who attend will no doubt be excited by the amount of artistic talent in their city and may find an item to take home.

The art fair will be a great opportunity for local artists to show off their art skills to the community and to make a few sales. Booths are available for the two days for $100 for Chamber of Commerce members and $125 for non-members.

Artists from Orland Park who are taking part in the fair will very likely be investing in services from local print companies to prepare. This might include signs and banners to make their booths more attractive, or postcards and business cards to promote their business to the community.

The Fine Art Fair will take place at Orland Park Crossing Shopping Center over the weekend of July 20-21 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm each day. Admission is free. For more information, call 708-349-2972.
