The holiday season is quickly coming up, while people around the country are trying to decide what gifts to buy for their family and friends and perhaps struggling to come up with unique and original gifts to give people, Orland Park residents have no such problems, with two art and craft shows taking place on November 3 in Tinley Park.

The 10th annual Holiday Gift Faire will take place at the Tinley Park Public Library from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.. The fair will have a variety of items suitable for gift-giving, such as jewelry, home accessories, and kitchen gadgets. There is sure to be something to appeal to every taste at this event, which is free to attend. Call 708-532-0160 for more information.

On the same day, and also running on November 4, The Andrew High School Arts and Crafts Show will take place from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm each day. The show is presented by the Victor J. Andrew Music Parents Association and has been held twice a year since 1985. Visitors will be able to purchase items such as jewelry, home decorations, and food. Artists and crafters can rent an 8 x 8 space for $150, while a table is an extra $15 and electrical access is an extra $10.

Those who plan to sell at the show will no doubt come from all over the area and are also likely to be working with local printing companies to prepare their booths for the sales.
