Chance to meet the new Chamber board of directors

December 23, 2012 by

The Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce is holding a cocktail party to introduce members to the 2013 president and board of directors in late January. The new president will be installed by Mayor Dan McLaughlin and those in attendance will be able to enjoy hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, and soft drinks.

The event will inform members what direction the board is going to take in the New Year, and it will also no doubt be a great networking event. Chamber members from all around Orland Park are likely to make a point of attending this event, and many of them may consider arranging for a new business card printing order in advance – just to make sure their information is current.
Chambers of commerce are an important link between local businesspersons and local government. They help advocate for their members and, as a result, help to improve the economic environment of a community for all business owners. They also provide numerous networking opportunities, educational workshops, and discounts on various services needed by the business community.

The Installation Cocktail Party will take place at the Silver Lake Country Club on January 24 beginning at 5:30 pm. The club is first and foremost a golf venue, but also regularly hosts chamber events, weddings, and general get-togethers. Visit its website to find out more about its facilities.

Tickets for the party are $45 and reservations must be made by January 18. For more information call 708-349-2972.
