Area Chambers of Commerce unite for Mardi Gras

Together We Hope, located in Tinley Park, is holding a Mardi Gras celebration this February.

This is a joint networking event for the Tinley Park, Oak Forest-Crestwood, Oak Lawn and Orland Park Area Chambers of Commerce.

Those who are planning to attend the event are asked to wear a carnival mask, although this is not mandatory. Guests will be able to enjoy appetizers and drinks and to take part in raffles for prizes. Although it is mainly a social event, as in previous years chamber members will be able to provide information to the other attendees about their company’s products and services on tabletop displays.

It is also suggested that those attending the celebration bring along their business cards to exchange with their area business peers. This will no doubt motivate many of those chamber members to consider a new business card printing order. Those from Orland Park and the other areas will want to make sure that their cards are current and that the information printed on them is correct. Business cards are after all an extremely important networking tool and they must contain the most up to date contact information. This will be especially important when making connections with individuals located in other communities.

The Mardi Gras celebration is taking place at Together We Hope in Tinley Park on February 11 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Admission is free. For more information about the event contact Karen Moran at 708-349-2972.
