Two-day fair starts off the holiday shopping season

October 16, 2013 by

The 32nd annual Holly Fair, presented by the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Women’s Club, is taking place for two days this month.

The fair offers high end items for sale that would be perfect gifts for family and friends. Over 40 vendors will be on hand, selling a wide variety of items such as linens, gourmet food products, clothing, and jewelry. In addition, there is the Cookie Walk, which features homemade cookies for sale. Guest can also view makeup demonstrations and purchase food and drinks at the Candy Cane Cafe.

The first evening of the event is ‘Shop ‘Til you Drop Night’ which will feature plenty of entertainment, such as a fashion show and raffles. Tickets are available for $6 for one, $10 for two, and $25 for seven. Prizes will include a hotel package.

Sponsorships are available for individuals from $50 to $250 and businesses from $250 to over $2,500. Sponsors will be recognized on a board at the venue and will be mentioned in all advertising, which is likely being helped along by local print companies who might be asked to provide items such as flyers and posters to be distributed in nearby communities, such as Morton Grove.

The Holly Fair is taking place at the OLPH Playdium in Glenview from October 24-25. Admission for October 24 is $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors, while the October 25 admission prices are $5 for adults and $1 for students. For more information, contact Karen Daniels at 248-210-3811.
