Trip to take Morton Grove residents to Sonny Acres Farm

September 16, 2016 by

Families from Morton Grove are being offered an opportunity to take part in an event that will bring a spirit of fun to the fall season.

Prairie View Community Center will serve as both the departure and return point for a trip to Sonny Acres Farm, which will be holding its annual Fall Festival. There will be a variety of activities to enjoy, including camel and pony wheel rides, a rock climbing wall, a fun house, a giant slide, and hayrides. For those who would like something a bit scarier, the Haunted Barn and Spook Shed will be open for visitors.

Dori’s Food truck will be open for business, and a variety of snacks from the country store can be purchased. Along with food, the store will have other items available, and a costume shop will also be open.

The trip to Sonny Acres Farm will take place on October 15. Tickets are $12 for residents and $15 for nonresidents. This covers the cost of the trip, and tickets for the attractions must be purchased at the gate. Flyers can be used to get the word out to the community about events such as this.

More information and an opportunity to register can be found on the Morton Grove Park District website.
