Morton Grove Chamber fundraisers taking place this June

This June, the Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce and Industry is giving its members and the general public the opportunity to raise funds for two important organizations.

On June 8, a fundraising car wash will take place in the Inland Bank Parking Lot. All proceeds will be donated to the Niles Township Food Pantry. Since it serves approximately 3,500 people each month, the pantry is currently seeking donations to that it can develop more community gardens to grow itsown food.

Four days late, the annual chamber golf outing is taking place. This tournament is a fundraiser for the Morton Grove Chamber, and offers rather more than just golf; there will also be a dinner, giveaways, raffles, and awards. Sponsorships of between $50 and $1,000 are also available. Each player will receive a goody bag and the use of a golf cart.

The chamber offers many perks to its members, including educational seminars, networking opportunities and mentoring. It is no doubt working with Morton Grove printing companies at the moment to advertise both of these events, which might involve designing and printing flyers for distribution in the community.

The annual Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce and Industry golf outing will take place at the Chevy Chase Golf Club on June 12 from 11:00 am – 10:00 pm. Fees until May 31 are $600 for a foursome, $150 for golf and dinner, $120 for golf only, and $40 for dinner only. For more information, call 847-965-0330.
