Family fun falls into place

A great Fall Festival, presented by the folks at AT&T U-verse TV, will offer a host of activities and performances for the whole family this Sunday. The one-day festival is action-packed, with tons of fun and amusement.

All the entertainment offered on the main stage is free to everyone, plus there will be an art fair, pony rides, children’s play zone open daily until 6pm, a car show, games, booths, carnival rides, and a raffle. On Sunday, the main stage entertainment is Red Wanting Blue, 7th Heaven, Who Knew, and Artistry in Motion. Also available on the grounds are a number of vendors selling various wares including crafts, jewelry, pottery, and other products.

There will also be food and beverage vendors, as well as beer and wine available at the tent. This is a rain or shine events, so everyone attending should remember their sunglasses, sunscreen, and sweaters, as the evenings at this time of year are often chilly.

Admission the September 16 festival is absolutely free, so it is an opportunity to bring the whole family and enjoy a great day of activities for everyone. The fall event is being held at Lake Park Memorial Pavillion located at 2200 Lee Street in Des Plaines, Illinois. Beginning at 12:00 pm and continuing until 8:00 pm, poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to promote this great family event to the residents and the surrounding areas.
