Annual event showcases Morton Grove’s restaurants

The 26th annual Taste of Morton Grove is returning to the area this March. It is a fundraiser for the Morton Grove Foundation, which helps various local charities, and more than 1,000 people are expected to attend this popular event.

Several local restaurants will be providing samples of their food during the evening. There will also be live entertainment, raffles and live and silent auctions. Music will be provided by a DJ and a local school band. The event is designed to showcase those in the food industry while raising money for the Foundation. It will no doubt introduce people to many restaurants that they may have missed and would like to visit.

Those exhibiting should get some increase in business due to the event. Additionally, this may be a great networking opportunity for restaurants that can share ideas with one another. With that in mind, it is likely that many of the Morton Grove exhibitors may be investing in a new business card printing order in advance of attending. These cards can then be passed onto the public and to business peers.

The Taste of Morton Grove is being held at White Eagle Banquets and Restaurants on March 6 from 5:30pm – 9:00pm. Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door. Contact Mike Simkins at 847-903-2124 for more information.
