Tack and craft sale to benefit the Humane Society in McHenry

March 21, 2013 by

The annual Tack and Craft Sale is taking place in only a couple of days and is not to be missed. This annual sale benefits the Hooved Animal Humane Society.

The sale will feature an entire tack shop filled with the products needed by horse owners, and over 20 vendors will be represented. Visitors will also have the opportunity to tour the farm and to meet some of the horses that are available for adoption. There will also be dogs and cats onsite that will be available to be adopted.

Vendors, who will likely come from all around the area, will likely be selling items such as saddles, blankets, horse feed, boots, and clothing, as well as decorative accessories which will appeal to horse lovers of all ages. Many of them might be working with McHenry printing companies to prepare for the sale. Some vendors might want to arrange for business card printing in advance. They can then exchange those cards with other vendors or include a card with every purchase to take steps towards getting some repeat business from those in attendance.

The Tack and Craft Sale will take place in the Education Center at the Hooved Animal Humane Society on March 23 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Admission is $3. For more information, call the Society at 815-337-5563 or visit its website. The McHenry County website also has info on the event and future local goings-on.
