The “Life is a journey” Expo is taking place this March in McHenry. It is a presentation of the McHenry Chamber of Commerce and is an opportunity for local businesses to showcase themselves to the community.

The expo is divided up into separate areas based on industry. For example, some of the sections will be named Senior Street, Children’s Court, Leisure Lane, Women’s Walkway, Health and Fitness Fairway, and Business to Business Boulevard. This will allow area businesses to present their products and services to those who will be most likely to become their customers.

There will also be plenty of children’s activities such as face painting and games; there will likewise be free popcorn and giveaways.

Booths are available from $180 to $210 for non-profit organizations and $235 to $400 for Chamber members; other are asked to call for prices.

Many of those planning to participate in the expo will probably choose to provide free promotional products to those who stop by their booths. This can include notebooks with the company logo printed on them, pens with the company name, or even postcards. McHenry stationery printers are often asked to provide such items to businesses.

The “Life is a Journey Expo” will be held at the McHenry High School West Campus on March 15 from 10:00am – 4:00pm. To find out more, call 815-385-4300.
