Upcoming show has much to offer to hobbyists

The Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Show is taking place for two days this March. A portion of the proceeds will go to support the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
The first 100 people through the doors will receive a treasure chest key, and the one with the key that opens the chest wins a $100 gift certificate to spend at the show. Vendors will be selling such items as stamps, paper stock, and scrapbooking supplies, while many are also expected to hand out free samples and demo products.
Visitors can buy raffle tickets to win gift baskets filled with supplies, and can sign up for a “make and take” craft party later that evening.
The show will not only be a good place to pick up the latest supplies, but to learn about various techniques from those selling them. It is very likely that visitors will come from all over the area to attend, including nearby Loves Park. Local stationery printers are often in attendance at events like this as they look to provide shoppers with samples of their various papers and supplies.
The Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Sale will be held at the Clock Tower Resort and Conference Center in Rockford from March 8 to 9, beginning at 10:00 am each day. Admission is $5 in advance or $6 at the door.
The ‘make and take’ craft party will take place from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Tickets are $30 each. For more information, call 772-644-0590.
