The Roscoe Lions Club is holding its annual Fall Festival next month for three days. Proceeds from this event go to help several local charities sponsored by the Lions Club.

There will be lots of family-friendly activities taking place over the three days, including amusement rides, games, and live musical entertainment. There is a raffle for a grand prize of $5,000, for which tickets are $5 each or $20 for five.

Vendors will also be on hand to sell items such as arts and craft and food. There are still 9 x 10-foot spaces available for rental for $135 for general merchandise and $150 for food. Contact Leonard Porter at 815-623-2435 for more information.

The last day of the festival will feature a parade, which will start off at Bridge and Main at 11:00 AM. Those who wish to participate can still sign up by calling Scott Richardson at 815-509-9026. Organizers are also collecting donations to help with the parade.

The festival will likely attract people from surrounding communities like Loves Park. To spread the word, local brochure printers may provide marketing materials that can be inserted in newspapers.

The Fall Festival will be held at Leland Park from September 9 to 11. Admission is free of charge. For more information about the event, contact the Roscoe Lions Club at 815-509-9026.
