The Innovation Expo, which is taking place this April, will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of The Society of Innovators.
The annual event showcases those organizations and companies that are seen as innovative and creative. The day will start off with a ‘Move that Body’ fitness warmup. Several companies from all over Indiana and Illinois are expected to be showcasing their products and services at the expo.
Several activities will also be happening throughout the day, including announcing the winner of the 2014 Young Innovators Video Challenge. The Lake Michigan Legoland Challenge will also be taking place.
Later on in the month, the Innovation Center and the Center for Creative Solutions will be celebrating the birthday of Leonardo Da Vinci and innovation during World Creativity and Innovation Week.
The expo will likely attract many visitors from the area, including nearby Lansing. Local printing companies may have been asked to provide advertising materials such as flyers and booklets.
The Innovation Expo will be held at the Jean Shepherd Community Center in Hammond on April 12 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Admission is free.
The World Creativity and Innovation celebration, meanwhile, is taking place at the IU Health Facility in Michigan City on April 22 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.
