Taste of Chicago has plenty cooking next month

The Taste of Chicago is taking place for five days in July, and is the top outdoor food event held in the United States.

The main event will be the Mazda6 Celebrity Chef du Jour, during which various top chefs such as Rick Bayless, Carrie Nahabedian, and Giuseppe Tentori will be holding cooking demonstrations. There will also be a large number of food trucks and pop-up restaurants selling food. The Petrillo Music Shell and the Bud Light Stage will be presenting concerts by musicians such as Neon Trees, Jill Scott, and local bands. Other events will include cooking demonstrations in Dominick’s Cooking Corner and the Blondi Boomer Bash.

It has been set up as an opportunity for the citizens of Chicago and surrounding areas to experience all of the different foods that area available in the city, and will also bring welcome attention to those who have just opened restaurants in the city.

The Taste of Chicago will likely attract people from all over the area, including nearby Lansing. It is very likely that organizers have worked with area printing companies to produce the brochure. It provides information on all the events, and also offers a map of where everything is taking place.

The Taste of Chicago will take place at Grant Park from July 10-14. Admission is free for many events. Food and beverage tickets are available for $8 for 12. Individual tickets to the Mazda6 Celebrity Chef du Jour are $40 each and concert tickets are $25 each.
