Library helps the public get ready for the holidays
October 31, 2013 by Mark
The Tinley Park Library is offering two events in the next few days that will help to get people excited about the upcoming holidays.
The first event will be the 11th annual Holiday Gift Faire. This is expected to get people thinking about what types of gifts they might want to buy for their loved ones. Vendors taking part will be selling such items as handmade jewelry, home accessories, candles, and food. Party vendors such as Pampered Chef will also be on hand to sell merchandise. Shoppers are sure to find at least one item that would make the perfect gift.
After that, Get Organized for the Holidays with Beth Randall should help to relieve some of the stress about preparing for company and all that comes with celebrating the holidays. Guests will learn about steps to take for smooth shopping, gift giving hints, and even advice on how to pay for everything without going into debt.
Both of these events will likely be popular with those from the area, including visitors from nearby Lansing. Marketing materials such as flyers have likely been provided by local printing companies to help advertise both events.
The Holiday Gift Faire will be held at the Tinley Park Library on November 2 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, while Get Organized for the Holidays is also taking place at the same venue on November 4 from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Admission is free for both.
