Arts, crafts, and other festivities bring in autumn
September 28, 2012 by Sarah
The Lansing Autumn Fest will take place on Ridge Road and Henry Street in Lansing in mid-October, offering plenty of wholesome food and drink, including bratwurst, burgers, and beer.
There will also be live musical performances, bingo, a car show, lots of children’s activities, food vendors, and arts and crafts specialist. The arts and crafts fair will be held on October 13 and 14 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm each day. Vendors can rent a 10 x 10 space for $75, a 10 x 20 space for $125, or a 10 x 30 space for $175. They are responsible for adding their own booths, tables, or tents. Food vendors can rent a 15×20 for a discounted price if they are Chamber members.
No doubt the vendors taking part in the Lansing Autumn Fest will be working with local printing companies to prepare. They will possibly use banner printing, sign printing ,or business card printing services to get their name known in the community. Many artists and crafters also supply business cards or postcards with items they sell. These often have a sample of the artwork or a picture of the craft, as well as their contact details on the other side.
Whatever steps they take, any investment in such marketing or advertising products can only increase the chances of sales, or at least more foot traffic when the event arrives over the weekend of October 12 – 14. For more information, contact the Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce at 708-474-4170.
