Digital Diva 2.0 will be holding monthly networking events for women in technology and entrepreneurs entitled ”Living Social is a Lifestyle”. The first meeting will be held at the Society Art Gallery in Chicago on March 22 from 6-9 pm. Tickets are $20.

The Living Social events will consist of the Women Startup Panel, guest speakers, food and lots of time for networking. On March 22 the keynote speaker will be Amy Ravit Korin of Google and InteractiveAmy.com. The moderator of the panel will be Dee Daniels from Digital Diva 2.0 and will feature Adrissha Wimberly, the founder of Smarteys.

The Living Social events are recommended for journalist, social media marketers, graphic designers and those who run online businesses. Women in fields that are mainly dominated by men often feel separated and alone. However, there are lots of organizations such as this who hold networking events for women to find strength and support in numbers.

Many women entrepreneurs from all over the area, including Lansing, who are currently developing a website or an online business will be interested in attending these monthly meetings. It will give them a great excuse to arrange for a new business card printing order. A business card is the most important item you can take to these types of events and one of the first things you should create in your business. Building a referral network is a greatway to spread the word about a new business and to find both customers and people who can help find business for you.
